Clarification of the qualities that leaders need to model team leadership:

+    Perception of reality - Team leaders need a grasp of what is really taking place around them.  They must live in the present and future not just the past.  Leaders see what is really going on.

+    Team-Building skill - Team leaders need a positive regard for collaborative ministry, the courage to let go of control, and an ability to communicate.

+    Tenacity - Team leaders need a spirit that absorbs disappointments and keeps moving forward.

+    Integrity - Team leaders need a quality of life that engenders trust from fellow team members.  The foundation of leadership is character rather than charisma.

+    Coaching ability - Team leaders need to be the spiritual coaches creating a healthy environment for the team members.
